Kenzie DysliDifferent dates, Showring & Aktionsplatz
With her performances and the gentle way to communicate with horses, Kenzie Dysli inspires more and more horse friends in the whole world. At numerous events she presented the Doma Vaquera and liberty dressage with her horses James and Atila. She lives at the "Hacienda Buena Suerte" in Andalusia, where she trains her own horses and spends time with breeding horses (Quarter Horses and Iberian Horses) and taking care of the familial stable with her whole family. Her parents, western riding legend Jean-Claude Dysli, who brought the first Quarter Horses to Europe, and Magda Bayer-Dysli, she had the best requirements to get a keen sense for horses and developed her very own style of handling them.
Experience Kenzie and her liberty dressage at the Show arena at EQUITANA Open Air 2012!

Ute Holm

Ute Holm Different dates, Showring & Aktionsplatz
Ute Holm is the expert for cattle work with horses and communicates professional training methods, combining different ways of horse riding. As a "Professional Horseman" of AQHA and DQHA, she is going to inspire the audience of EQUITANA Open Air 2012 with her stallion "Docs Gun", presenting different impressions of the disciplines Cutting, Reined Cowhorse and Ranchhorse Versatility. Ute Holm is TEAM World champion in the discipline cutting, German and European champion in numerous western disciplines and trainer and judge for Reined Cowhorses NRCHA. As a carrier of the German riders awards of the EWU and author she is one of the most successful western riders for all-round horses and riders. Her key to success is her comprehendible way of training horses and riders. With her courses in Europe and the USA she gives first time riders an insight in working with cattle and trains advanced riders to improve their skills.

Biesenbach Holiday Farm

Biesenbach Holiday FarmThe Biesenbach family is already an institution at EQUITANA and EQUITANA Open Air. Irrespective of whether we are talking about mini shetties pulling a Roman chariot, a heavy horse quadrille, covered wagon rides or riding side-saddle in baroque costumes the team from the Biesenbach holiday farm in Kuerten has already been there and done that! This year they will be presenting a pas de deux with carriages and pairs of Flemish heavy horses at EQUITANA Open Air at Night, demonstrating that driving is one of their real specialities.

The Waeller Wind Show Troupe

The Waeller Wind Show TroupeThe Waeller Wind Icelandic Horse Show Troupe was formed in 2000, the same year that Wäller Wind, the Association of Friends of the Icelandic Horse, was founded. Ever since then its riders have performed some very impressive quadrilles on many occasions. Waeller Wind has already appeared at the HOP TOP Show at Equitana in Essen twice and its riders are renowned for the love and attention they pay to detail, their marvellous costumes and catchy music. Their horses "made of fire and ice" will also be appearing at EQUITANA Open Air, demonstrating impressive routines and rapid changes in an impressive tölt quadrille.

The Shetty Show Team

EQUITANA Open Air - The Shetty Show TeamLotta aus der Krachmacherstraße, Marlon van Dyck and Herr Frodo are the four-legged stars of the Shetty Show Team who demonstrate very impressively just what little horses are capable of!
These three very young Shetties show just what they, as representatives of the different Shetland sections, can do and make it very clear that size isn't everything. Irrespective of whether we are talking about circus numbers, natural horsemanship, ground driving with composure tests or demanding dressage lessons on long lines, the smallest members of the equine family are able to complete all disciplines with bravour as they are extremely intelligent and hard working - but also very mischievous!

Rabea Schmale's Show Riding School

Rabea Schmale’s Show Riding SchoolWhether we are talking about rearing, lying down, the Spanish walk, work on long reins or classical dressage, at Rabea Schmale's Show Riding School in Minden, Germany, pupils learn how to train horses right from the very beginning through to putting on a full performance together. For Rabea it is important that horses work in all sorts of different disciplines. At the same time, she places great emphasis on horses learning respect, obedience, trust, harmony and above all, staying lively. Rabea Schmale and her pupils will be presenting an excerpt from her show, demonstrating the breadth the show riding school has to offer with all its different horse breeds.

Uwe Weinzierl

Uwe Weinzierl at EQUITANA Open AirFor more than ten years now a natural approach to training horses has been a matter very close to Uwe Weinzierl's heart. Uwe introduces the basics of Natural Horsemanship in a way that everyone can grasp by explaining how horses communicate in an easy-to-understand manner. Uwe Weinzierl gets his horse Veloz to walk over plastic tarpaulins or wooden seesaws; he plays horse football with him and, to close, they gallop off into Veloz's horsebox. With charm and humour Uwe explains just why the rules of Natural Horsemanship are applicable for every single horse.

The "Madagaskar" youth quadrille team from RV Muelheim-Mintard

The "Madagaskar" youth quadrille team from RV Muelheim-MintardThe "Madagaskar" youth team already managed to impress the audience at the Show Cup at EQUITANA 2011 in Essen with their costumes, choreography and amazing ground crew. The team consists of 8 young riders and a whole plethora of "wild animals" in tow who whisk their audience away to Madagascar on a lively and colourful adventure.

Working Equitation with the Signum Show Team

Working Equitation with the Signum Show TeamSpeed, precision and harmony are the watchwords in Working Equitation. This discipline is becoming ever more popular with equestrian fans as a competitive sport. The Signum Show Team is going to be demonstrating excerpts from trail and dressage lessons that go to make up part of the Working Equitation examination repertoire. The riding style originates from the working methods used by Southern European animal herders. Irrespective of whether we are talking about going sideways through poles laid out in an L shape, over a bridge or through a gate, half passes or flying changes - the riders of the Signum Show Team demonstrate just how to master all these exercises with ease.

Mitja Hinzpeter and Macchiato

Mitja Hinzpeter and MacchiatoThis pair already played with fire at EQUITANA 2011 in Essen, winning the Show Cup in front of around 5000 spectators with their dance routine and their fire garrocha. Once again Mitja Hinzpeter and his horse Macchiato will demonstrate in Neuss that trust between horse and rider can make a bridle superfluous, even when riding through fire. A couple that really would go through fire for one another!

RSV Essen

RSV Essen auf EQUITANA Open Air at NightThe vaulting team of the Essen Riding Club will be appearing at EQUITANA Open Air. Their advanced team will be performing under the leadership of Anne Borgboehmer and Anne Sümnik together with their Holstein gelding "Kilmore Quay".
The vaulters will be presenting excerpts from their current compulsory and freestyle programmes with which they won the EQUITANA Master Class in 2011 and also participated in the Germany Championships.
Brother and sister pair Anna and Florian Kraft, who gained 2nd place at the CHIO in Aachen last year, were awarded the bronze medal at the German Championships and also won the Stuttgart Masters', will also be appearing.
Enjoy an enchanting display by this keen and innovative team.

The German Camargue Horse Society

The German Camargue Horse SocietyThe hardy white horses of the Camargue have been welcome visitors to EQUITANA Open Air for many years now. In their traditional costumes the German Camargue Horse Society will be demonstrating the riding style of the guardians, the "cowboys of the Camargue", once again. They will enact typical guardian games such as the traditional "Floral Game" or the "Trident". Blessed with lightning reactions, agility and intelligence, the Camargue horses, and their riders, will lend a touch of Gallic charm to the main arena at EQUITANA Open Air.
