14 local associations consolidated to IPZV National Association Rhineland consisting of 2,500 members and about 7,500 Icelandic Horses. The tough horses from far north giving the rider a unique riding comfort with their special gaits tölt and flying pace have become long ago very popular as family, leisure and sports horse in the equestrian scene. The Rhineland Riding and Breeding Association for Icelandic Horses will present these horses within typical competitions for tölters, four and five gait horses, flag race as well as children and youth categories.
