Julia Packeiser, the lucky winner of the EQUITANA Christmas competition, received her first prize today, a teaching session with celebrity rider Hanno Vreden. Hanno gave Julia and her horse valuable tips on the dressage square in front of a whole host of spectators.

EQUITANA Open Air | Pura Raza Espanola

The noble Purebred Spanish Horse (P. R. E.) was presented in extensive shows and demonstrations. At Friday, 28th May 2010, PRE mares and stallions of different age categorys had their morphology judged in hand at the activity ring.

The winners of the competition conducted in co-operation with the IG Welsh collected their prize today. Simone Kania and Carsten Siegel were able to take a spin round the EQUITANA Open Air site and enjoy the sights of Germany's largest equestrian festival from a carriage and pair.
