EQUITANA Open Air 2020 takes place as a digital event
EOA@home - under this title, the EQUITANA Open Air will break new ground this year and celebrating its premiere as a digital event. From 7 to 9 August, the popular equestrian sports festival will be launched as a purely online event. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, this year’s two planned editions of the EQUITANA Open Air in Neuss and Mannheim unfortunately cannot take place as live events.
"With the new format EOA@home we bring the EQUITANA Open Air to our fans at home. We also want to make it clear to everyone involved with popular equestrian sports: EQUITANA is here for you even in these extraordinary times", said Christina Uetz, EQUITANA Event Director, Reed Exhibitions. "Many have been looking forward to the EQUITANA Open Air in Neuss and Mannheim. But we will do everything we can to bring as much of the atmosphere as possible into the homes of our visitors with EOA@home," Uetz continued.
The EQUITANA team is currently developing an exciting online event consisting of live expert discussions with trainers, training videos, show elements and a digital trade fair to discover products and manufacturers. "Together with our partners and exhibitors, we will present a diverse programme that will bring together the best of the world of equestrian mass sport online this year," finished Uetz.
The EQUITANA team will share further plans in due course. All tickets already purchased for the festival at the racecourse park or the Maimarkt area will be refunded.
The next EQUITANA will take place in Essen from 13 to 21 March 2021. The next EQUITANA Open Air is planned for summer 2021 in Mannheim.
