EQUITANA Open Air at Night
EQUITANA Open Air at Night presented by UELZENER
On Saturday evening EQUITANA Open Air 2019 presented a top-class show. On Saturday July 6th, the show arena was filled with show highlights.
Who was there?
We presented these participants and showacts during our evening show EQUITANA Open Air at Night presented by UELZENER.
Haflinger Amani and Franziska Keth
With nearly 50,000 fans on facebook and more than 7,600 YouTube subscribers, Haflinger stallion Amani and his owner-rider Franzi Keth have been a team right from Amani’s birth, not just enjoying success in the dressage arena but also competing in eventing. We saw Amani and Franzi strutted their stuff in an advanced class freestyle dressage performance.
Working Equitation with the Signum Showteam
Working equitation at its very best – speed, elegance and precision. Whether we are talking about a speed trail, involving demanding dressage tests, or riding in formation, the Signum Show Team demonstrated the most popular elements of show and competitive working equitation.
German Association for the Promotion of Freiberger Horses e. V.
The Freiberger - a horse for every occasion! Originally bred as a light workhorse for the Swiss mountains, the Freiberger has developed into a great leisure horse. The German Association for the Promotion of Freiberger Horses showed us in a colourful show how nerve-strong, reliable and willing to perform the Freiberger horse is and how versatile its application possibilities are.
Schwarze Perlen Kranichstein
The Friesian show team "Schwarze Perlen Kranichstein" has been funded 20 years ago. They are at home in the Darmstädter Reitverein, where they also eagerly train every week for their numerous big and small show performances. Fascinated by the beauty and elegance of the Friesian horse, they present imaginative quadrilles with up to 24 horses at numerous gala evenings and equestrian events. It was a great performance with the "Black Pearls"!
Pet School Anne Krüger-Degener
Anne Krüger-Degener and her family are creating beautiful presentations with the many animals of the Degener Hof. The precision and calmness with which horses, dogs, goats, ducks and humans work together is fascinating time and time again - and develops unbelievably charming and imaginative demonstrations, which we were also able to admire at the HOP TOP Show.
The young Belgian has been in the horse show business since her childhood. She started with trick riding on small regional shows. When she was 18, she travelled to the USA, Canada and Mexico with the show group "Cavalia Odysséo" and also spent some time in Portugal with Maître Luis Valencia to continue her education and develop her own style. She is particularly attracted by horses of the colour Cremello, which can come from different breeds. So not only Lusitanos and Andalusians, but also Arabs and Quarter Horses can be found in her show group, which she presented to us at EQUITANA Open Air at Night with an enchanting liberty work.
Rosegarden miniature horses
The Gronewald family have been breeding American miniature horses at the Rosegarden Stud in Altheim since 2006. The Gronewalds and their team are completely dedicated to looking after their small four-legged friends, paying the utmost attention to their keep, exercising them and providing them with enough stimulus to keep them happy at all times. As well as lunging, showjumping in hand and doing agility exercises, the miniature horses are also driven and love performing in front of an audience. It was a pleasure to see four wonderful pairs of the cute miniature horses from the Rosegarden Stud in the main show arena.
The Kreiswald Stud
Fans of the docile and comfortable gaited breeds Mangalarga Marchadores and Icelandic horses will certainly appreciate the Kreiswald stud. Both breeds are at home in Kreiswald, and lovers of gaited horse will find the most amazing horses to buy and enjoy the top quality riding lessons on offer there. It was a pleasure to see a great act combining Icelandic coolness with South American flair in the main show arena, featuring horses, rhythm and dance.
Mitja Hinzpeter & Macchiato
It all really started back at EQUITANA in 2011 with Macchiato and his fire performance in the Show Cup. In the meantime, Mitja Hinzpeter has become world champion in working equitation and been a regular participant in the HOP TOP show. In Mannheim he showed just how much his long-standing partner, Macchiato, trusts him and how he is even prepared to go through fire - in the truest sense of the word - for his rider.
